Note that often, in general news articles, the rule(s) is/are summarized but not cited so you will need to research and locate the text of any statute, administrative rule or case. Please make sure to provide a proper citation to whatever source you find for the rule(s).
d. Analysis. Please summarize the analysis both in your article as well as from other sources.
i. You will be required to find at least three other sources (two of which must be primary sources) and use them in your analysis.
ii. You are also required to describe the section(s) of the course textbook that deal with the issue(s) in your article, explain why you think these sections are implicated and apply the information in the textbook, including definitions and concepts, to the article.
iii. Describe how the topic of the article will affect the businesses involved in the case (i.e., describe who wins and who loses and what the business consequences might be).
e. Conclusion. Please provide your own conclusion using your own reasoning and synthesizing the information presented from the article, the text, the rule(s) and the sources that you cite. Do you think the result is the right answer? Why or why not? You will not be graded on whether you reach the right or the wrong conclusion; rather, you will be graded on whether you are able to express a thoughtful and reasoned conclusion.
Works Cited. Please provide a properly formatted Works Cited page including, at a minimum, the following:
