Hi Shannon,   You are required to create diagramed workflow process for selected area for improvement, which is unclear. There are four perspective in the balanced scorecard:  Learning & Growth Perspective,   Business Process Perspective, Customer Perspective, and  Financial Perspective.  When you are asked to present measurable standards and benchmarks in the form of a balanced scorecard, make sure that you include the measurable standards covering all four perspectives. There are some minor errors in APA.

Introduction

There are many challenges involved in the execution of the healthcare centres, and the same needs to be handled in an effective manner. Many hospitals and medical centres work towards developing and implementing an effective communication system through which the challenges that exists within the centre can be handled in the right manner. for this, the loops that are present in the system has to be analysed, as it will help in selecting the better method through which the challenges can be handled by the experts Communication is necessary for interacting between different medical professionals within the organization. This work is based on the “Claypath Medical group” which is located in the UK. (Kirstaedter, et.al, 2005)

**A work with 3 to 5 authors, you need to list all of the authors and connect their last name with an ampersand & like this: (Magliano, Fiorillo, Malangone, Del Vecchio, & Mai, 2008). For the same reference, in the second and subsequent in-text citation, you can do like this: (Magliano et al., 2008).

The centre provides medical services to the clients and ensures that the tasks are performed in the right manner. For this, root causes analysis has been conducted to find the exact problem with the medical services, and find the steps through which effective measures can be taken for correcting the same. In this process, challenges are analysed from different perspectives and the right measures are taken to correct the same. (Kirstaedter, et.al, 2005)

Term -Root cause analysis

The difference between the treating symptoms and curing the medical problem has to be understood in the right manner. Pain can arise due to any reasons, and the same needs to be analysed, as it will help in finding the right solution. In order to reduce the pain, it is necessary to find the right type of solution as this will cure the issue for good. Sometimes, people choose medicines to control the problem it is necessary to take the right type of medicines. Through root cause analysis it is necessary to analyse the problem in an effectiveness of the issue that needs medical problem.

With the help of RCA, the symptoms have to be fixed and it has to be sorted in the right manner. Through this method, the symptoms are analysed, as it helps in selecting the better medical services that can be provided to the patients. The medical problem has to be fixed up for good, as this will help in stopping the occurrence of the issue in future. Besides this, the reason for the occurrence of the problem has to be identified (Clark, 2008, p. 08).

RCA is a technique that is quite popular and it is used by medical professionals to find the answers to medical questions. Such things are quite important and it is necessary to analyse the occurrence of the problem. The analysis will help in finding the reason for the occurrence of the problem in the first place. Then the required solution through which the issue can be solved will have to be found out. Such an analysis will help in sorting the problem and solving the same for good. Through this process, the following factors are taken into consideration –

  1. Determining the medical problem and analysing the reason for its occurrence
  2. Evaluating the reason for its occurrence
  3. Find a solution to solve the problem and ensure that the same doesn’t occur again.

Medical experts communicate with the patients the issues and ensure that the right steps are taken for handling the challenges. It is necessary to follow the steps through which the accurate steps for medical problem are being handled. (Calland, et.al, 2002, p. 14)

Communication and its relevance

The doctors at the health care have to discuss and interact with the members from different departments. This has to be done for interacting about the problem that exists with a particular patient. In this case, it is necessary to have an effective communication method, wherein the problem can be discussed and the right solution for the same can be taken up. In this process, the type of communication is selected for interacting with the patients and other medical experts.  The communication method has to be simple and effective, and for this the right steps for handling the challenges has to be taken up by the management. Besides this, the communication method has to be fast, as this will any sort of delays in the process. Interaction is necessary between different departments for RCA as this will help in analysing the problem and finding the right solution of the same. In this case, the factors have to be analysed and the right decision for the same has to be taken up. Through communication the doctors can discuss about the steps that needs to be taken up for solving the issue. This is quite an important factor that will help in solving the issue (Gupta and Varkey, 2009, p. 42).

Steps involved in RCA

The steps that are involved with the RCA are meant to help the management or the medical expert to find an effective solution to cope with the challenges that exists with the medical problem. Some of the steps that needs to be followed in the process includes –

  1. Analysing the problem
  2. Evaluating the physical cause to the problem, wherein the material failure and tangible failure are analysed. This is done to find the exact problem to the issue and find the best suitable solution for the same.
  3. Common causes – The failure of the system can be due to many reasons. Thus, it is necessary to analyse the same and find a perfect solution to cope with the same. In this case, the factors that fails in the project has to be analyse and the right steps to cope with the same has to be found out. This will help in finding the required solution through which the challenges can be handled in the right manner (Olsen, et al., 2005, p. 194).
  4. Failures due to organizational causes have to be evaluated as this can cause serious problem to the process that is intended to be followed by the moment. In this case, the factors that causes the failure in the system has to be analysed and the right steps for handling the same has to be taken. In this case, it is necessary to analyse the severity of the problem and then ensure that the same doesn’t occur again ever gain. This will secure the process that needs to be followed for the sake of execution of the task.

RCA method follows all the three steps and ensures that the right strangles is taken for correcting the deviations in case there are any. In this process, the patterns are investigated and the reason for the system failure and other factors are analysed. This will help in solving the problem that is related to medical issues and then a right step is found to handle the issue. Such an analysis is required for handling the problem and the making the right decision through which the issue is tackled. (Li, et.al, 2008)

The process for analysing RCA includes the following steps

  1. Defining the problem

In this method, the problem is identified and defined. This is done to ensure that the problem can be eradicated from the root cause and the necessary steps can be planned to be implemented. Through this method, it is necessary to check what is happening and how the specific symptoms can be identified and sorted out.

  1. Collect data

This is quite an important factor, as the company needs to be collected and analysed. This will help in solving the issue with the help of the factual data. For this it is quite important to analyse the loops that are present within the system. For this the necessary data has to be collected and analysed by the medical experts. In this method the experts need to have proof for the data that has been collected for analysing the fact, check the length period of the problem, impact of the issue, and others (Calland, et.al, 2007, p. 14).

Once the steps have been analysed it is necessary to take the right solution through which the use can be sorted by the company. The severity of the problem has to be understood, as it will help the management to find the solution for the issue. The severity of the issue has to be calculated or evaluated on the basis of the information that can be collected by the authorities. The managers are expected to analyse the issue and find the solution that will cater the needs of the clients. It is necessary to take the right steps through which the issue can be sorted out with the help of the information that is being collected from various sources. In this case, the reliability of the information has to be analysed as this will help in checking the options that are available for the medical experts. Once the steps have been formed, it is necessary to check on the steps through which the solution to the problem can be found out. In this process, the challenges have to be analysed and the limitations in case has to be found. (Tang, et.al, 2007, p. 18)

Conclusion

RCA is quite an important step and it needs to be analysed in the right manner. For this, the step that needs to be followed by the management has to be decided. This will help in solving the problem and find the right solution.
