Analysis of Mexican Politics

Choose a topic dealing with anything that has to do with politics that you would like to analyze The topic you choose can be based in any of the sub-fields of political science (American politics, comparative politics, international relations, political philosophy, or public policy).  It can be conceptual or concrete, historical or contemporary, or as broad or narrow as you wish.  Whatever the case, do not choose a topic extremely broad in nature.  You may choose to look at the politics of a country of interest to you.   Write two paragraphs approximately discussing why you choose your particular theme.  Mention why you think your topic is important for study.      In your analysis, Be sure to include a thesis/argument that you base your analysis around  It might be a good idea to discuss some of the important history that is relevant to your topic (don’t go overboard) Be sure to try and be analytical and critical in your paper.  Try not to be totally descriptive.  Discuss pros and cons, strengths and weaknesses to an extent  Remember that a good paper and good analysis includes a combination of both general and specific information      Include a cover page and a bibliography Meticulously cite works that you paraphrase or quote   Use 11 or 12 point font and standard margins ·       Cite as many sources as possible (at least half-a-dozen) and avoid overuse of sources such as encyclopedias (i.e. Wikipedia).  Try to avoid Wikipedia entirely
